Aikan Intense Whisky

Aikan Whisky Intense Rum Barrels is a blended Scotch whisky aged in the tropical climate of Martinique. After an initial maturation of at least three years in Scotland, it continues its aging for at least one year in bourbon, French oak, and Grand Arôme rum casks, a particularly powerful and expressive molasses rum.

This unique maturation gives it an intensely gourmet profile. The nose reveals aromas of rum baba, flambéed banana, lime zest, vanilla, licorice, and almond. The palate, full-bodied and dynamic, develops notes of mango, brioche, honey, tropical fruits, and spices. The finish is long and smooth, marked by cherry, vanilla, and very ripe fruits.
