Ballykeefe distillery single malt

This single malt is triple distilled in custom-designed copper pot stills, then aged in oak casks that previously held Kentucky bourbon. Each bottle comes from a single cask, without blending, and is bottled without chill filtration, thus preserving its natural color and authentic aromas.

Tasting notes:

• Nose: Aromas of dried fruit, warm caramel, firm oak vanilla, malted cereals, and a light touch of coconut.

• Palate: An initial burst of fruit, sweet licorice, and malt, with dominant apple notes supported by tropical fruit. Evolves towards flavors of baked apple, tarte Tatin, marzipan, and cloves.

• Finish: Long and intense, marked by notes of baked apple and cloves.

The Ballykeefe Single Malt received a bronze medal at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards, with tasting notes highlighting aromas of violets, cinnamon, sweet vanilla and pine, followed by candied fruit, woody spices, peach, candied pineapple and lychee on the palate, with a finish reminiscent of juniper.
