Brice Bouzy Rouge is a still red wine from the Coteaux Champenois appellation, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Bouzy Grand Cru terroir. The house selects only two or three historic plots from Les Hauts Vaudayants, Les Doyennes, and Les Basses Brousses.
The grapes are fully destemmed, then put into vats for about ten days with daily pumping over or punching down. The wine then ages for eighteen months in barrels before being bottled without filtration. The nose reveals aromas of cherry, raspberry, and red berries, accompanied by notes of vanilla and sweet spices. The palate is delicate and fresh, with a supple texture, fine tannins, and an elegant finish.
Light yet expressive, this Bouzy Rouge can be served slightly chilled and pairs well with both an aperitif and a meal.
