Château de Ciffre Terroirs d’Altitude Saint-Chinian 2021 is an organic red wine composed of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache from old vines. The vineyard is located on the foothills of Pic de la Coquillade, on limestone and schist soils benefiting from cool nights.

The grapes are harvested and vinified separately by plot, with gentle extraction to preserve the fruit. Aging is shared between vats and barrels, with a proportion of new barrels. The deep garnet color accompanies an intense nose of raspberry, violet, and red fruits, complemented by a slight woody touch. The palate is fresh and generous, with silky tannins and a long finish of raspberry.

Balanced, fruity, and velvety, this Saint-Chinian will perfectly accompany grilled meats and stewed dishes.
