Pepusque Castle White Pebbles Christophe Urios

The "Les Cailloux Blancs" vintage from Château Pépusque, owned by Christophe Urios, is an AOP Minervois La Livinière red wine. Composed mainly of Mourvèdre (70%) and Syrah (20%), with touches of Carignan (7%) and Grenache (3%), it has a dark garnet color. The powerful and complex nose reveals aromas of ripe fruit, blond tobacco, smoke, bacon, vanilla, spices, black olive and mentholated notes of scrubland. On the palate, it is heady, structured by powerful tannins, promising excellent aging potential. This wine is ideal with a fillet of beef in a crust, dishes in sauce or big game.
