D de Dauzac

D de Dauzac is the second wine of Château Dauzac, a Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, crafted with the same exacting standards as the grand vin. Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this wine elegantly expresses the refined style of the Margaux appellation. The nose opens with aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, violet, and lightly toasted oak. On the palate, the attack is supple, the structure fine, with silky tannins, flavors of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, and a lovely freshness. The finish is harmonious, subtly oaked, and persistent. An approachable Margaux, ideal for enjoying young, but with excellent aging potential.
