Dingle Samhain

Dingle Samhain is an Irish single malt whisky produced by the Dingle Distillery, located in County Kerry. This limited edition is the first in the "Wheel of the Year" series, inspired by the Celtic festivals that mark the seasons. Samhain, celebrated at the end of October, marks the beginning of winter and the Celtic New Year.

This whisky was initially matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then finished for an extended two-year period in first-fill Muscatel casks, before being bottled at 50.5% ABV.

Tasting notes:

• Nose: Aromas of vanilla, oat biscuits, apple juice, sweet oranges, raspberries, cherries, raisins, milk chocolate and a hint of cinnamon.

• Palate: Flavors of raspberries, cherries, raisins, oranges, almonds, cinnamon and cappuccino, with a floral note in the background.

• Finish: Medium-long, with echoes of the fruits and spices mentioned earlier.

With a limited production of 10,000 bottles, Dingle Samhain offers a rich and complex taste experience, reflecting the distillery's artisanal expertise.
