Domaine Cauvard Hautes-Côtes de Beaune is a straightforward and elegant red Burgundy, made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the slopes of the Côte de Beaune. This cooler terroir gives rise to a wine with crisp fruit, a light structure, and lovely freshness. The nose opens with aromas of cherry, redcurrant, violet, and forest floor. On the palate, the texture is supple and luscious, with delicate tannins, flavors of small red berries, sweet spices, and a beautiful mineral tension. The finish is clean, smooth, and very pleasant.
