The Bourgogne Épineuil Pinot Noir from the Moutard family is a red wine made from vines located on the slopes of Épineuil, in northern Burgundy. The clay-limestone terroir of this appellation, similar to Chablis, produces fine, elegant wines characterized by a lovely freshness. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with partial aging in oak barrels to preserve the fruit while adding complexity. On the palate, this Pinot Noir reveals a brilliant ruby color. The nose expresses aromas of small red fruits such as raspberry, cherry, and redcurrant, accompanied by light spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is supple and fluid, with good acidity and fine tannins that give it excellent aging potential. This wine pairs perfectly with white meats, roast poultry, grilled vegetables, or mild cheeses. Best enjoyed young for its freshness, or after a few years for a more complete expression of the terroir.
