Fontchene Leon Red

Fontchêne Léon Rouge is an organic red wine from the Alpilles, made by René Milan from a blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Produced from clay-loam and rolled pebble soils, this wine expresses a fruity, spicy, and structured style. The nose opens with aromas of black fruits, ripe cherry, garrigue, pepper, and subtly woody notes. On the palate, it is supple yet deep, with fine tannins, a lovely freshness, and a long, balanced finish. An elegant Mediterranean red, perfect with grilled meats, lamb, Provençal cuisine, or stews.
