The 2023 Palsambleu Justices

Palsambleu 2023 is an organic Saumur-Champigny made exclusively from Cabernet Franc. The grapes come from the famous "Les Poyeux" vineyard site in Chacé, where aeolian sand soils rest upon the yellow limestone of the Upper Turonian.

The harvest is carried out manually in 10 kg crates. After destemming, the grapes undergo a gentle 40-day infusion. The wine is then aged for nine months in 500-liter demi-muids, a format that adds depth without masking the fruit.

The nose reveals black cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant, and violet, accompanied by pepper, spices, and a slightly smoky nuance. The palate is deep, precise, and elegant, with fine tannins and a fresh, mineral, and persistent finish.
