Macnamara double matured

MacNaMara Double Matured is a blended Scotch whisky produced by Pràban na Linne Ltd, an independent company based on the Isle of Skye. This whisky undergoes double maturation, first aged in bourbon casks, then finished for a further twelve months in Guyanese rum casks. This rum cask finish gives the whisky a harmonious sweetness and a distinctive aromatic complexity.

Unfiltered and chill-treated, MacNaMara Double Matured preserves all of its natural aromas. On the nose, it offers light notes of biscuit with a touch of sweetness reminiscent of rum. On the palate, it is fresh, smooth, and slightly oily, balanced by the sweetness imparted by the rum. The finish is medium-length and slightly creamy.
