Pascal Jolivet Clos du Roy Sancerre is an exceptional white wine, made exclusively from Sauvignon Blanc grapes from a single plot located in the heart of the appellation. This historic walled vineyard, facing due south on limestone soils, gives rise to an intense, pure, and complex Sancerre. The nose opens with elegant aromas of ripe lemon, pear, white flowers, and flint. On the palate, the texture is ample and taut, with flavors of citrus, crisp white fruit, a beautiful chalky minerality, and a saline freshness. The finish is long, precise, and vibrant.
