Vincent Girardin Corton Les Perrières

Vincent Girardin's Corton Grand Cru "Les Perrières" is a red wine from 45-year-old vines, located on steeply sloping clay-limestone soils with an eastern exposure, in the centre of the village of Aloxe-Corton. Made from Pinot Noir, it has a dark colour and aromas of fresh fruit such as blackcurrant and cherry, evolving towards notes of truffle and leather with age. On the palate, its solid structure rests on a tannic base with a well-marked acidity, offering harmony, softness and a long finish. This wine rewards those who let it evolve wisely.
